I have been so excited for my parents to come visit, and we had a blast. Grandma Clause came with her big blue bag of toys for all of us. It was better than Christmas!!! Grandpa and Vinson became friends fast.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gCxMOIsc-cIDan had to work, but Val showed Mom and Dad Prague. First we checked out the Jewish Ghetto.

We got a preview of what the museums in Italy were going to be like because Dad read
everything. Which happens to be great. Dan and I have to take turns seeing things in museums, so one can watch Vinson. That meant we would be able to keep up.
Then we walked around Old Town.

It was fun to show off Prague to the family.

And we were able to use it as an excuse to see some of the Czech Republic that we hadn't had a chance to see yet. We went to Karlovy Vary (Carlsbad) which is a spa town. It actually reminded me a lot of Park City, but cooler :) The coolest part was that they were having a folk dance festival while we were there so we got to see a lot of kroj (traditional folk costumes) from all over the world. Here's a video of the Slovak Folk Dance team. It so made me want to join a folk dance group, here. We'll just have to country dance in our living room more often.
